This is a big deal.  You will no longer be able to file and suspend for SS benefits.  Seems like every time you turn around they decrease benefits for those that have paid in the most.  Makes retirement planning all that much harder.

...I am not happy with the way Soc Sec is looking... We have money for 'free' cell phones, but not enough for end of life benefits that we pay into.

We will get something...a few hundred or so...maybe.

as a business owner I hate when they send me my unemployment statements showing what I have paid in, iirc we have contributed 35,000 in the last 10 years without a single claim, think my rates would go down? Nope, up every year.
