Thought I'd start a new thread for this.

I would love to see a real third party in our political system.  I know there is the Green Party, Libertarian, etc.

The idea, or dream, or notion of a new party is probably more wishful thinking and dreaming...but I am a 'what if' guy.

What would you want the future Homesteading Party to be about?

I'll start it off:

-The belief in and promotion of self reliance and accountability.

Interesting idea for a thread, 

-remove federal and state level welfare and transfer that responsibility to the counties

Stapleton had a constitutional attorney on his show the other day. Really interesting stuff she had to say about some of the legality of what the government does on a federal level. You should listen here if you have a chance.
