So I kept hearing more and more about this way of making coffee, so I decided to finally check it out. Here is the guys site who came up with the idea.

http://www.bulletpro.....om/coffee/

That site will go into depth about the benefits of this way of making coffee. But basically you take a buy really, really good grounds, ideally one that are grown and cured like he describes on his site. You then add in unsalted, grass fed butter. He uses Kerrygold. You then fill up half the mug with the blended butter/coffee mix and froth it. I used a blender but will probably get a small battery powered frother (they can be found all over, Ikea sells them for $3). At that point you mix in the rest of the coffee to fill the mug. Some are now adding MCT oil which is found in coconut oil and also has a TON of health benefits.

Again, read his site for the info on why this is the better way to drink coffee. If what he says is true, you could get by on a single cup per day just fine along with a myriad of health benefits.

So here is what I did:

Brewed the coffee. I have good organic coffee beans ground coarse.

Prepared the butter (later added half my brewed coffee) to froth.

Which looks like this.

After frothing (again, a true frother would do a MUCH better job of this).

I poured in the frothy coffee to my mug then added the rest of the brewed coffee, like so.

I am drinking it now and it actually tastes amazing. Very smooth. With more practice and adding in the MCT oil, I bet this stuff is every bit as good as the site says it is.

I think the amount of butter I got which is the smaller package, plus a pound of coffee would last you about 3 weeks, maybe less. I think you could definitely get by with 2 pounds and 2 packages of butter per month.

Not sure if you add MCT oil but they come in pretty big bottles, Im sure it would last quite a while as well.

So maybe $20 a month at most? Not bad at all.

Ok, so Im a couple hours in. If coffee makes you um...sit upon the royal throne...then this concoction will make the throne wish you forsake your royal authority to use said throne.

Lets just say its ruffled a few feathers in the poop factory.

Honestly, check the site. Lots of health benefits to coffee but you have to have the good stuff. Not some gimmick coffee but good, organic coffee, like veggies.

The butter almost acts like a delivery system.

Its worth reading up on.

Instead of MCT oil I think I will try this with oil of the castor....and propel my self into a low orbit.

And the monkey presses the button.
