I still want to know what is going to happen when the coal fire hits the marcellus shale, they do overlap in certain areas

yeah, I did some research on it a couple years ago, they are several thousand feet apart in depth, but the way they are drilling wells, who knows

this is a pretty scary statistic, I didn't know there were that many

At least 98 underground mine fires in nine states were burning in 2013, according to the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement.
