Well this is fishy just 3 days before he had to speak on Benghazi. Not even Clinton resigned after his affair.

...and acting director morrell will testify before congress, not petraeus. morrell will be able to claim i don't know or don't recall and petraeus won't testify to conversations that might have taken place that don't have a paper trail. i don't think we'll ever know why americans on american soil were attacked and not defended and who made the decision not to defend them.

Not defending this, because this is obviously politically motivated. But someone in an intelligence service, let alone the director, can't have these kinds of skeletons in their closet. It compromises them.

I don't understand why he isn't testifying, just because he resigned doesn't mean he an't testify
