I-94 is always insane.  I can't believe people were driving that fast when visibility was less than 1/4 mile in most places.

They opened the lanes about 0430 Sunday morning.  I pm'd a high school friend who is a manager for a michigan paving company and he had heard through the grapevine that section of the highway will need to be repaired in the spring because of the fires.  It's safe for now, but once the spring thaw and refreezes happen, it will be a mess.
