So basically, the trip was fairly uneventful. I drove pretty much 18 hrs a day, with small breaks to let the dog get out and stretch her legs. Cruise control @ 70 and audiobooks. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter was pretty bad ass. My back passenger window decided to stop working in Oklahoma, so no A/C for the second half of my trip

My thoughts on the south / southwest are:

California - communists

Arizona - rocks and casinos

New Mexico - scenic lighting lol

Texas - I was dissapoint, everything was NOT bigger

Oklahoma - boring

Alabama - hot, full of cops and more porn stores than gas stations

Tennessee - lots of Jesus billboards, and trees finally

Kentucky - more trees

West Virginia - even more trees and no power lol

My place is pretty rough, we had a hand pump for water we were using but that broke this morning so I'm in town to find us a replacement, thus the wifi access. I'm working on cleaning things up now, and exploring the property. Give me a week or two and I'll start a thread and upload some pics and outline my projects.
