Democratic National Committee documents recently released by WikiLeaks include spreadsheets and emails that appear to show party officials planning which donors and prominent fundraisers to provide with appointments to federal boards and commissions.

The documents, which were circulated among top DNC officials in April, could raise legal questions for the party, says Ken Boehm, the chairman of the National Legal and Policy Center, a government watchdog group.

“The disclosed DNC emails sure look like the potential Clinton Administration has intertwined the appointments to federal government boards and commissions with the political and fund raising operations of the Democratic Party,” Boehm told The Daily Caller.

“That is unethical, if not illegal.”

I said this elsewhere, but I thought that was common knowledge that people appointed their friends and supporters to positions like that.

Doesn't change the fact that it's business as usual in Washington lol

Will anything happen? probably not. I keep my ear pretty close to the ground in political circles and all the democrats and progressives are saying on this one is that it's a plan by Putin to get trump elected. rather than be up in arms about how utterly and completely corrupt the Democratic (and Republican for that matter, they're no angels either) party is, they'd rather play the blame game.

All I can tell you is that all the skeletons are coming out of the closet now and I can't see this madness lasting more than a few more election cycles.

I think you're wrong, espec. if HRC wins.  First, sadly, people have short memories and news has an even shorter cycle.  Most of this will be conveniently forgotten by the election.  Secondly, if HRC wins, she'll be in office for 8 years, which is even more time for people to forget.

I caught some of the DNC last night and was flabbergasted that they were making it more about putin trying to push trump then what they did. On a side note they crapped on Maine. 🙁

While I agree that has held true in the past (and it's very possible that this could be the case in the future) there are a few big differences right now that we've never seen before. First, media has changed drastically. it's no longer just the MSM outlets providing information. It's everywhere. it's gotten to the point where even when extremly powerful groups like the DNC want something covered up, it's out and available within minutes to anyone who's looking. Additionally you have a giant block of disenfranchised voters who have grown up without any real political affiliation, and who are grossly skeptical of the current system. You saw this with the huge support for a guy like Bernie Sanders who was selling something fresh and new. Finally, we've never seen a fracturing of the major parties like this during our lifetimes. the closest thing was the tea party, which really turned out to be a subset of the neocon republican party. Right now both groups are totally splintered, which is why all the talk about party unity from celebrities and such.

All that said I could be totally wrong about this lol
