A COUPLE who were high on drugs spent two days believing they were trapped inside a janitor’s closet only to discover when the cops arrived that the closet had been open the whole time.

Amber Campbell, 25, and John Arwood, 31, called police after breaking into the Marine and Environmental Science Center at Daytona State College, Florida, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

They told police they were trapped inside the closet.

When police arrived a foul smell led them to the pair. They found human excrement and paraphernalia for smoking meth and crack cocaine inside the closet.

When a police officer checked the closet door he realised it had been open the whole time.

The couple were freed and then immediately arrested for trespass.

oxy abuse was pretty rampant up here from work related injuries, which led to Heroin and then bath salts when they popped up on the market

It is OK though since big Pharma can not be held accountable for doing what needs to be done to drive up sales.

They estimate around 50 million people in the US have a problem with prescription drugs.

The United States has 5% of the world’s population & consumes 75% of the world’s prescription drugs. See text for more info.

When I was fresh out of high school, I worked for a certain orange "big box" store, and we once had a meth-head come in trying to still power tools, and it was obvious he had no idea which way was up anymore. Poor guy was all used up in the brain. We called the cops, he got in his car and fled, and ended up getting in a bad car accident during the police chase.

What is wrong with people?

alcoholism runs pretty rampant in my family on my mothers side, it's been eye opening seeing who it affects and who it doesn't, some have been devastated by it, while others have not been touched by it. My brother for example can probably count on his hands how many drinks he has had in his lifetime and most of them happened the night before his wedding, I on the other hand enjoyed beer way too much for too long, it's why I stopped last year before it totally got out of control, addiction can be a scary thing.

Life sucks and if a little pill or a gallon of booze helps people will seek it out.

Society has become one that looks outwards for happiness not inwards. Sadly, looking outwards is comparing ones life to others instead of what you seek for yourself. So when we have what others have and are still not happy the cycle continues.

Above probably does not make sense but for this person who has been a addict (and quit) of a few things through life it seems to be the way it goes. The fellow on the island understands the cycle, he is and should be nothing more then the grain of sand on the beach. If he is anything more there needs to be checks and balances.
