Gonna disagree a little bit. Is Congress corrupt? yes. Banking? sure. Should the President be able to sidestep all of it and make Executive mandates? No. Roosevelt was wrong when he did it, and his policies have grown into the monstrous and broken entitlement programs that are suffocating us today. I'm a bit of a devil's advocate at times, perhaps a default is what is needed to put enough discomfort on the populace to shake off the complacence and apathy that allow Senator's like McCain to not only stay in office for several terms, but be a presidential candidate. I feel like American's have been taking this sh*t for nearly long enough to do something about it, just need that one last straw. I am hoping for a big enough cluster &%@* that the next year has ~ 200 recall votes on the current legislators.
