Yes, I liked it.  If you forget about the book, and go in with low expectations, it's actually pretty good.  The thing I liked about it is that it actually made zombies scarey again.  I'm a fan of "fast zombies" and this took it to a whole new level.  In this movie, if there's one zombie, you have your hands full.  If there's two, you're screwed.  Obviously, it had it's flaws, but I thought it was enjoyable.  If you try to compare it to the book, or pay too much attention to the CGI, then it's easy to hate it though.  Most current zombie movies/shows, the zombies just aren't much of a threat anymore (ie Waking Dead).

I liked it more the second time I watched it. To much CGI imo.

yeah, I guess it's not fair to compare it to the book, hbo should have picked up the rights and did a mini series like band of brothers with it, but zombies
