about 15 years ago cc transactions were about 20 percent of sales, now they are about 80

I remember when McDonalds started accepting cc...I was in shock...if you have to charge a Big Mac you are probably already screwed.

I was surprised by that as well, just for the processing fees, I think we pay 2.7 percent fees with a .35 cent minimum, I'm sure McD's has better rates due to their size but for the small mom and pop shop if someone uses their card to pay for a 1.50 cup of coffee the fees take a huge portion.
