Without knowing the motor and what sub model this is makes it a bit tough. The base goes for about 2k and best is about 8k. That's a large gap so knowing what it is helps a lot. I would buy the car expecting to spend a thousand dollars for maintenance well over what it might cost but at least you have room to play with. Me personally the gold outback on the outside means its a higher model. I would stay under 4.5k total cost and you will have a nice car for years to come. That's my two cents anyway best of luck!
