2 men enter the cage, one man leaves.

GLENBURN, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- State Police said a Glenburn man was stabbed at his home Thursday night after fighting with another man.

Jesse Merritt, 25, of Charleston and 38-year-old Alan Hartley got into a fight after they crawled into a pit bull's dog cage, according to police.

Police do not know why the two men were fighting in the cage, but said the dog was not involved.

Hartley is currently being treated at EMMC for a stab wound to the face.

Merritt was was taken to the Penobscot County Jail.
