I love this DVD. The producers are very nice as well. I had contacted them asking for support raising funds for St Jude. I told them how I had watched "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead", "Foodmatters", and "Hungry for Change" and that they changed my life. I was raising money running the Chicago marathon, and a subsequent local Ultra-Marathon.
Low and behold..... BAM! I get a big box in the mail. They apologized that they could not donate cash but sent me a case of assorted DVDs to use in my fundraising process.
Good people they are.
That being said I love Hungry for Change.
There is some pseudo-science thrown around and Wolfe is off his rocker, but that being said if you are a reasonably critical thinker you can sort through the given info and extract some gems.
I think the movie's most redeeming quality is its ability to motivate. I have watched it a dozen times. It is always inspiring and gets me back on track. For that alone it is worth the $9 or whatever I paid for it.

If you like the Foodmatters movies check out Forks Over Knives
You can watch the whole thing on youtube, here is the trailer.
awesome story, what a great group of people, big fan of forks over knives, I think it has some excellent points and like you said, makes one think about what gets put into our body, for me on a professional level have been trying to integrate more less processed food onto our menu, if that makes sense for a restaurant lol
