not really but my wife thinks I am, I normally get sick every 1 to 2 years, it always starts the same, day 1, dry scratchy throat, day 2 slight cough and sneezing, day 3, deeper cough as lungs clear and slight fever, over by day 4 or 5.

My wife is constantly trying to shove cough suppressant and Tylenol down my throat but I refuse to take them, imo a fever is the bodies way of combating a virus or bacterial and you need a deep cough to clear the lungs or it is just prolonged.

Anyone else hate taking otc medicine for common stuff?

I don't do any over the counter meds. I keep a few around but find I get better results with homeopathy and herbs. Even with the severe flu that I have just come out of.
