Possibly send them a "nice" message and ask them to either remove the post from their site or add a clickable link to the source?

I was thinking that, my other idea was to throw together a quick e-book with a expanded version of the list and throw it up on amazon that way it's copywritten and I can jut use that to deal with it if happens again in the future

Agreed... I'd send them a polite but firm request to either link the material properly back to you or take it down. Also, if you do not already, perhaps a blerp at the bottom of pages with your original content on them here, talking about how unauthorized reproduction of this material is not permitted is in order? At least it might give you something to stand on.

yeah, I thought the copywrite in the footer would be enough, looks like I need to add a disclaimer at the end of each post

It's not going to stop anyone imo. That and the copywrite are only good for when you want to force someone to remove something or try to recoup damages.
