for the love of god, do not go to those cash for gold business's. I went to the mall today and drove by a new one I had never noticed before, said buy and sell gold and silver, so I figured I would stop in and see if they had anything interesting, saw a few proof sets, asked the guy behind the counter if they had any older half dollars, he said the guy's who works during the week does, he just buys, didn't make any sense to me but whatever, so i asked him what he pays for junk silver, 90% of spot? He hands me a sheet of paper with his buying prices and next to pre-64 halves it says 3-5 dollars, depending on condition. They have 11.00 dollars in them in silver alone! I almost fainted.
