*Notice* In this thread I will not be telling you Fluoride is bad for you as I will not tell you it is good for you. Not everything I post can I prove is 100% fact or even harmful. If you see something that interests or concerns you I recommend you do further research on the subject yourselves. Alright now let us get started on probably one of the most interesting parts of our body.

The pineal gland is a small endocrine gland in the vertebrate brain. It produces the serotonin derivative melatonin, a hormone that affects the modulation of wake/sleep patterns and seasonal functions. Its shape resembles a tiny pine cone (hence its name), and it is located near the center of the brain, between the two hemispheres, tucked in a groove where the two rounded thalamic bodies join.

Many people believe that the pineal gland is the source of communication with the spirit world by tuning into the different frequency's. This can help with Meditation, Yoga, or a term know as Astral projection(travel)

In the physical body the eye views objects upside down. It sends the image of what it observes to the brain which interprets the image and makes it appear right side-up to us.

But the human body has another physical eye whose function has long been recognized by humanity. It is called the ‘Third Eye’ which in reality is the Pineal Gland. It is long thought to have mystical powers. Many consider it the Spiritual Third Eye, our Inner Vision.(sixth sense)

It is located in the geometric center of the brain. This correlates to the location of the Great Pyramid in the center of the physical planet.

Pineal Gland is represented in Catholicism in Rome; they depict the pineal as a pine cone in art. The ancient societies like the Egyptians and the Romans knew the benefits and exemplified this in their vast symbologies with a symbol of an eye.

Here is an example of the pine cone in Catholicism.

Also here is a picture of the pine cone court at the Vatican

Here is an example of how the ancient societies like the Egyptians and the Romans portrayed the pineal gland. The symbol of an eye.(The Eye of Horus)

This is why they chose the Eye.

The gland weighs little more than 0.1 gram. The gland is large in children and begins to shrink with the onset of puberty. It appears to play a major role in sexual development, hibernation in animals, metabolism, and seasonal breeding. In humans it affects circadian rhythms, sleep patterns (melatonin levels increase at night), and is implicated in seasonal affective disorder. The abundant melatonin levels in children is believed to inhibit sexual development. When puberty arrives, melatonin production is reduced.

The pineal gland secretes melanin during times of relaxation and visualization. As we are created by electromagnetic energy – and react to EM energy stimuli around us – so does the pineal gland.

When activated, the pineal gland becomes the line of communication with the higher planes. The crown chakra reaches down until its vortex touches the pineal gland. Prana, or pure energy, is received through this energy center in the head. With Practice the vibration level of the astral body is raised, allowing it to separate from the physical.

As you can see this gland is believed to hold great importance to the humans abilities to connect on a spiritual level and has been believed to do so since ancient times.

Now we will get into the subject of whether certain chemicals can damage the penial gland or if even wearing sunglasses can have negative affects.

As you know the issue of Fluoride in the water has been a heated issue. Over 60% of the U.S. population has access to Fluoridated water. For 65 years, community water fluoridation has been a safe and healthy way to effectively prevent tooth decay. CDC has recognized water fluoridation as one of 10 great public health achievements of the 20th century. There are two kinds of Fluoride generally found in the water. Fluoride that is leeched out of the rocks and dirt naturally(Calcium Fluoride) or a Fluoridated compound(the type of fluorides added to water supplies and other beverages and foods are waste products of the nuclear, aluminum, and now mostly the phosphate (fertilizer) industries. The EPA has classified these as toxins: fluorosilicate acid, sodium silicofluoride, and sodium fluoride.) is added to the water supply. The Fluoride in the water operates on the tooth surfaces and is secreted through the saliva to keep the tooth from preventing cavities. As of 2004 about 400 million people world wide have received fluoridated water.

Opponents of Fluoride argue that water fluoridation may cause serious health problems, is not effective enough to justify the costs, and has a dosage that cannot be precisely controlled. In some country's fluoride is even added to table salt. Opposition to fluoridation has existed since its initiation in the 1940s. During the 1950s and 1960s, some opponents of water fluoridation suggested that fluoridation was a communist plot to undermine public health. It is disputed whether or not Nazi Germany put Fluoride in the water of the Jews to keep them docile. Many accuse Russia of doing the same. Many countries have completely banned Fluoride in the water, to name a few China, Japan, Germany. For a complete list check this link http://www.fluoridat.....ntry.htm

In the late 90?s, a scientist by the name of Jennifer Luke carries out the first study the effects of sodium fluoride on the pineal gland. She determined that the pineal gland, located in the middle of the brain, was a target for fluoride. The pineal gland simply absorbed more fluoride than any other physical matter in the body, even bones.

Pineal gland is like a magnet to sodium fluoride. This calcifies the gland and makes it no longer effective in balancing the entire hormonal processes through the body.

Various Researches every since have proved Sodium Fluoride goes to the most important gland in the brain? It’s the only thing that attacks the most important center of our gland in the brain. It’s prevalent in foods, beverages and in our bath and drinking water. Water filters you buy in supermarkets do not take the fluoride out. Only reverse osmosis or water distillation. The cheapest way is to buy a water distiller.

Some go as far as limiting the length for which they will even wear there sunglasses because the Pineal gland is light sensitive and needs the light to function at it's best.

It should also be noted that almost any large amount of chemicals can have adverse affects on the human body. Small amounts may not have as much of an affect but can add up over time.

I tried to be unbiased while making the thread and I do sometimes drink tap water but believe the third eye is to valuable to risk harming.
