yep, with their freedom of free ranging this year, they did not like being picked up, I got tired of chasing them around the yard, I set up a trap by moving their water and food into the pallet coop and snuck up when they were in there eating and blocked the entrance, they spent two days in there making a hell of a ruckus, my wife felt bad so she let them out, and they went right back to the cabin

Our chickens were starting to congregate under out front porch and pooping on everything. That was a factor when we decided to butcher them. Now a project for the Spring is to put lattice skirting the front porch so that if we get chickens again they can't get under there, too.
