I'll tell you right now, it's not everything the hype said it would be. It's fun, and exploring is cool, but a lot of promised features are missing. it reminds me of like, a great game engine that needs a game put into it. Think of it like skyrim if there were no quests.

Yeah, when I heard about it, I really didn't see how they could deliver that into a good game.  I heard you may go years and never run into another person.  It just seems too massive.  

thats kind of part of the appeal tbh. The problem is you can't create or change anything really. You're just kind of... there. They promised faction disputes you could participate in and other things you could do that would make the universe feel alive and they just missed the mark on that one. Hopefully theres a patch or some DLC, or at a minimum they release the modding tools and let the community pick it up.
