Thoughts and prayers would be appreciated; our 9 month old daughter had to have a pretty serious operation on her skull yesterday.
I guess I have not really talked about it, but our youngest had some complications when she was born. Two of her plates in her skull were stuck together when she was born; as of an 8.5 hour operation yesterday, this is now no longer the case. It's quite an extensive surgery; they had to cut her skull ear-to-ear and then rebuild her forehead as well as split those plates.
Looks like she will be able to come home on Christmas Day, if all continues to go well with her recovery. It's been a rocky 36 hours so far.
I am posting from my phone but will try to get on my computer and provide some additional details when able.

Thanks everyone, she is doing pretty good right now. We were able to transfer out of ICU roughly 8 hours early, due to her responding well. She still has a lot of swelling in her face so she can't open her eyes, but she is starting to take a bottle and called out for "momma" earlier this afternoon (all good signs).
At this point, it still sounds like we will be here through Christmas Day, but we're thankful she is on the road to recovery.
