Sending lots of best wishes and sweet Santa thoughts to all no matter where you may be - as long as its together!

My personal motto - The Home, a peace worth fighting for.

Thanks everyone for the prayers and thoughts. It was a rough week but we are home now.

Guinevere has been through a lot this week but she handled it like a champ and this operation should fix her craniosynostosis completely. Even the doctor's were amazed at how quickly she has been recovering; I credit the roughly 200 friends and family we know praying around the clock.

The Jonathco's have a lot to be thankful for this Christmas.

She's doing well; it's amazing how quickly kids recover. She still has a bit of swelling and the dissoluble stitches are itching her like crazy, but she is mostly back to herself.

You'd hardly know by looking at her that she had major surgery less than two weeks ago.

Same thing when my daughter had her heart repair.  In a week she was up and around.  We also saw a documentary about a boy that had a heart transplant and he was walking out of the hospital in a week.  Crazy what they can do.
