Man the last 48 hours sucked | The Compost Bin | Forums

We needed to upgrade our computer hardware and software at work, always the one to try and do everything myself, I ordered 4 refurbished computers off tiger direct and had plans to upgrade the computers on Sunday. I had purchased our original computers and point of sale software 7 years ago and my father and I installed the system then so I figured this was going to be easy. Wrong. I got into work on thurdsay at 7 a.m. and the last piece of hardware came in that afternoon. I disconnected one terminal off the network and set up our new server with all the upgraded software on that one, it only took a hour and a half. So being happy with that I figured I would stay after work Thursday and upgrade the other 3 terminals and figured I would be all done a little after midnight. Wrong. I was on the phone with our software helpdesk till 6 a.m. yesterday morning , went home and got 2 hours of sleep and was back in at 8 a.m. and finally got it working somewhat by the time we opened. I spent the rest of the day tweaking the system settings and then had to work last night. I finally was able to crash around 10 p.m. last night. I still feel like a zombie. Note to self, wait till sunday next time. How's your guys last 48 hours been?
