I thought this was from the onion at first
MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. — A Mecosta man is charged with a felony for obstruction of justice and misdemeanor of tampering with a jury for passing out fliers about jury nullification rights on the sidewalk of the Mecosta County courthouse.
Keith Wood, 39, faces these charges after handing out about 50 fliers on Nov. 24, which the Fully Informed Jury Association wrote, that describe juror rights that are typically not given by judges during jury instructions before a trial.
Wood's Attorney Dave Kallman told FOX 17 the charges are "outrageous," especially after Wood posted bond set at $150,000 last Tuesday. Obstruction of justice is a five-year felony with up to $10,000 in fines, and attempting to influence jurors is a one-year misdemeanor with fines up to $1,000.
Wood told FOX 17 he was speechless.

This is such a total example of how the COURTS (think about that word - like begging favors of a king!) are a system created by and FOR those who RULE others. It ainta no justice system, well beyond a JUST-US system that is . It seems like a great idea to try and get seated on a jury so as to turn the tables from the inside, but that is more fantasy than reality as far as I can tell.
There is NO compelling reason for giverment to be a monopoly holder of negotiating settlement of disputes. A big eye opener can be reading No Treason by Lysander Spooner <https://mises.org/library/no-treason-constitution-no-authority>

Jain, I am a huge advocate of the Mises Institute and a fan of Spooner's work (as well as Rothbard, Mises, Block and Woods). I couldn't agree more on your recommendation of No Treason; it was a game changer for me back in undergrad.
