Everything seems to have gone well. They decided to keep him overnight. Doctor feels confident this one should hold as long as he takes it easy the next couple weeks. Having a pretty hard time with it to be honest though. Sitting here watching him sleep, hearing his pressure cuffs going off and on is like reliving when he had his AA

easytapperlooks like he will be staying another day, they gave him some morphine when he first woke up, then they were able to get some liquid in him so they switched to oxycontin, and he was sleeping on and off all afternoon, so what's a son to do? Mess with him.
When he had his AA, he was married to Cheryl, none of us liked her, but we bit our tounges for dad's sake. When we started building the house, I knew things were not going well, so I asked dad if I needed to add a room for him, no he said, things will be fine.
And in the spring we built him his little cabin, so much for that
So when he was waking up from his drug induced stupor, he looks around, sees me and smiles.
Cheryl will be here at 7 dad.
who?
Cheryl, your wife. She has to work till 6 and will be right up after she lets the dog out.
okay he said as he lays his head back on the pillow.
all of a sudden his head pops up, asshole
lol, love you dad

jonathco, easytapperDon't know what changed, but they released him and he is home now.
And he told me they almost killed him last night, his blood pressure was a little high, so they gave him something to bring it down and they somehow double dosed him and he bottomed out, luckily the nurse was in there when it happened and they were able to bring it back up, awesome

Several years ago, when my 4 yo daughter had her stroke, she was in Hopkins. You know, Hopkins, one of the best hospitals on the planet? Well because she has Down Syndrome, she has to take a thyroid medication called synthroid. I believe her dose is 37 mcg (micrograms). They overdosed her on it. To the best of my knowledge, they gave her 37 mg (something like 100x her normal dose). It's crazy how stuff like that can happen.
