Several years ago, when my 4 yo daughter had her stroke, she was in Hopkins.  You know, Hopkins, one of the best hospitals on the planet?  Well because she has Down Syndrome, she has to take a thyroid medication called synthroid.  I believe her dose is 37 mcg (micrograms).  They overdosed her on it.  To the best of my knowledge, they gave her 37 mg (something like 100x her normal dose).  It's crazy how stuff like that can happen.

   a lot of people die from stupid stuff like this when they are in the hospital. it's nuts!

will do, he seems to be doing fine so far, they gave him a script for oxys and he didn't want them, I made the wife go get them filled, in case he woke up in the middle of the night in pain and advil didn't cut it, glad we did, he has needed them several times, I told him I better not see him hanging out at the truck stop when the script runs out, he didn't find it as humorous as I did.
