So I have been searching craigslist for a while for a Tdi so I can produce Bio diesel and get good mileage out of a vehicle. Well I have finally found one! Its a 98 Jetta Tdi a bit rough around the edges but for $200 who cares!

Starting to get the paint taken of to put salt and water all over to get a nice rust look, left some paint on to make kind of a patina. Not sure if it will work.

Got my stack installed! What diesel doesn't need a stack??

Another angle of the install.

Sounds really good for what it is, looking forward to the project! Any ideas let me know!

Here is a little sound clip of the car.

I will take a video of it at some point, there is a pipe on the inside of the trunk and that stack is welded to the top when you open they separate. To fill up the space so it doesn't back up in the trunk I JBwelded some heavy steel wool to the smaller pipe to make up the difference of room between the two.

Yeah it is, the law states that on a diesel vehicle with a stack it must clear the roof line and that's it. Talked to my friend that owns a shop and there is nothing stating I can't do it.

So today I was able to get a bit more work done on car. Thought I would get a stab done on the hood, not as easy as I thought, took a few hours to accomplish but worth all of the work!

Im a noob and flipped the camera and at one point lost what I meant to say, suppose to say let the chemical reaction take place but either way.

Now after this clip I was wondering why there were so many spots not rusting like I wanted. So I went back to regrind the hood to take off some more paint, this time I was not shy with the grinder and was super happy about it.

I love the look that this gives, I believe I am going to put a set of bull horns on the front like "Boss Hog" or a European style mount. Also would like to take the VW symbol out put a bright red button and on the hood right behind hit say "press me", then be attached to a loud horn. Let me know if you all have any ideas for me.

This is a bit of a side note but my wife got this shirt for one of my girls and I about died...

Needs a bit of modding but hey its a start!
