The wasp thing...wait til dark and blast it with brake cleaner, they will fall out of it like crumbs. They will all be in there at dark too so you will kill them all, including the queen or whatever

just like vapor said. I wait until dark. The wasps or hornets will all be on the nest after dusk.
I usually use raid (ant and roach) spray. But in a pinch I also found out that WD-40 will kill the wasps.
the snake, I would prob kill it. Unless I knew it was a harmless variety. I don't take many chances on them.
