you guys ever hear this before? my daughter just had a cold and someone told her to put vicks on her feet with socks, and it seemed to help, anyone else ever hear of this?

My wife has been doing this with my son for 4 years. Every time he gets a cold she puts Vicks on his feet and covers them with cotton socks at bedtime. It makes her feel better, but I can't say if it does anything for him.

i dont know that it works any more than putting it on chest. ive tried both.

best thing ive done is a humidifier. no dry/sore throats when i wake up
