this story keeps getting stranger and stranger.
Las Vegas (CNN)Tammy Meyers and Erich Nowsch were neighbors. Their homes are walking distance from each other and from a park.
It was in that park where, according to Meyers' husband, she used to talk to the young man, where she implored him to act like an adult.
On Thursday, Nowsch was arrested, accused of killing Meyers in what has been described as a road rage incident that ended a week ago with a shooting in front of Meyers' home.
"We know this boy. I couldn't tell you this before," Robert Meyers told reporters after the arrest. "He knew where I lived. We knew how bad he was, but we didn't know it was this bad. That he'd gotten to this point, and his friends."
Nowsch, 19, faces three felony charges: murder, attempted murder and unlawful discharge of a gun from a vehicle. A Monday morning court hearing has been scheduled.

I can't imagine losing my wife, but at what point do people realize that looking for trouble might get you killed?
People angrily honk in traffic every day. Rarely, someone gets out of their car and exchanges words. Only an idiot would go home, wake up their strapped 22 year old son and go looking for someone. I know if someone threatened my mom I would be out of my mind, probably not the best time for me to be armed. Even worse, she drove around her own neighborhood looking for someone she knew was unstable. What was she think was going to happen, her armed, wise-for-his-years 22 year old son was going to calmly talk sense to this other idiot and maybe get an apology?
And all of this starts by a 15 year old girl, driving without a permit, thinking she's going to correct someone else's driving habits.
Robert Meyers needs to look no further than his own house for problems to address.
As my kids get older, one lesson I want them to learn is you don't have to be a doctor or a rocket scientist, just don't be an idiot.

I'm not saying this woman deserved to be shot. This whole situation is senseless. This was a whole string of bad decisions whose consequences never should have been death. My 5 year son is a kid with big emotions. Sometimes he's impetuous, and has a temper. I pray he grows out of it, because this stuff scares me to death.
This country could use a healthy dose of justice, prudence, temperance and fortitude.
