Well, a sketch was made that same day. So this lady's family sat through a sketch session knowing full well who the shooter was? I bet the son was banking on getting some revenge.

While she's gotten better, my wife used to be somewhat like this. She'd run her mouth, not realizing that she could do it to the wrong person and get one or both of us killed. She did it one time at the mall to a car that didn't yield to us (pedestrians) and of course there were brake lights. I really thought something was going to happen.

I think the kid is going to get off or a lenient sentence. The family has lied so much so far I think it will be he said/she said and will provide reasonable doubt. Nancy Grace is going to have a field day.
Police found two shooting scenes: one near a junior high school and the other in front of the Meyers' home less than a half mile away.
Six .45 caliber cartridge casings were picked up at the first scene.
There were seven more .45 casings at the site of the killing, one .45 bullet with human blood on it, and three 9mm cartridge casings.
Brandon Meyers, the 22 year-old son of Tammy Meyers, told police he had a Beretta 9mm handgun and fired after the shooter aimed at him and his mother, the report says.

My prediction is that the kid in custody goes home based on self defense, and the son ends up in prison for aggravated assault and manslaughter.
Anyone wanna bet me those .45 casings are from two different guns?
Edit: Now that I think of it, the kid in custody drove to scene number 2 so he'll do time. Maybe he and the son will be cellies.

I'm sure after all the ground these two shootouts covered, there will be some security video of part of this.

My prediction is that the first shootout happened in front of her house, at which point they chased him, there was a second shooting that killed her and then son took her back to house and called 911.
