Here we have a place called the ROC (regional oncology center). It is truly world class.  Pretty much right next to it/hospital they have a place called the Ronald McDonald House...families can stay there when there kids are going through weeks, sometimes months, of treatment and care...never a charge and the place is very very nice and very family oriented...just an amazing support system.  I really hate cancer.

eastern maine medical center has a housing unit attached to it that they use for families from out of town, not sure if they charge or not, Ronald McDonald house is a great program.
