what's the big pressing issues on your states ballot
here it's gay marriage, again, it's been on the ballot every time since we have lived in the state and it get's voted down and it keeps popping up on the ballot
school funding, a local school district somehow has a 3.6 million dollar budget shortfall and wants permission to get a 10 year loan to cover it, it is creating a lot of strife on the community
Olympia Snowe is retiring due to what she says is gridlock in washington, will be interesting to see who gets her spot
other then that, not much here besides the presidential

Lots of shake ups happened yesterday. How are you feeling about Angus, K?
I didnt think Warren would win over Scott Brown in Mass. I havent been in NH long enough to be familiar with the political scene.

Angus was governor when we moved here and wasn't around long enough for me to get to know much about him. I was shocked Warren won as well, must have been the Native American vote that pushed her over the top

She's lying through her teeth when she says she didnt use the native-American heritage to get hiring preference. I dont know much about her political ideas but I know she's very well educated. Like the other 5,000 lawyers that run our government.
