anything surprise you? Portland passed marijuana legalization, not sure how that's going to work versus Maine state law which is still illegal, I do feel some glaucoma coming on though!

Your eyes looked a little foggy last time I saw you.

Governor, lt gov = democrats w/ ties to Clinton, Obama and Bloomberg

One branch of the legislature maintained a small republican majority.

Not a grand day for the 2nd amendment.

And the monkey presses the button.

Christie won again in NJ.

I passed his campaign bus and 20-police-car entourage on the way home from work yesterday.

His bus was so wide it took up two lanes!

In local elections we have new mayor, new school board members. All write-ins.

We didn't pass initiative 522, to label gmo's, as Monsanto blew $22 million on the no campaign.

I also wrote-in myself as usual, for water manager in two positions and fire district commissioner in three positions. I lost by the slimmest of margins, just 99.9%, but I'm proud to be the .1%.

My buddy did make city council though, and he is a good man.

522 was the big one though :-(

I feel the same way about US politics as I do my Minnesota Vikings. We need to fire the entire staff, all of them, and get some new blood in there.
