Ours was marijuana legalization which passed, not surprised by that but it was pretty close

Another was required background checks for private sales of firearms, when I went to bed it looked like it was going to pass but surprised it failed when I woke up. 

Big one that is going to impact me is increase in minimum wage. That one is going to hurt.

We didn't have anything like that on our ballot. I voted for the school levy though.

Yeah, minimum wage is going to 12 next year, servers to 5 with a 1 dollar increase every year till they are up to 12 in 2024, this is going to hurt everyone.

There was nothing crazy on Michigan's ballot... Although they did pass a "selfie" ban at the polls. 

Seriously, if the state congress in Lansing has nothing better to do than pass selfie bans, I once more will argue that we only need a part-time legislative body here in Michigan.
