Oh, no.  My parents are taking my son to see it this weekend, lol!

Your son will probably like it.  I think my son and his cousins are going to see it this weekend as well. (2nd time for my son).  My father-in-law is supposed to take them.

My mom's a retired elementary school teacher and I know she's trying to talk him into the paddington movie, but he's 6 and theres no way he doesnt want to go to Spongebob.  He never watches it at home so he's dying for the movie

Same here.  Rarely is he allowed to watch it at home.  We've really eased off of that in recent years though, but he doesn't even ask now. lol

There was a stop motion animated Christmas Spongebob last year though that was pretty funny.

terminator would been a better option at this movie theater

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

It's definitely not Christian Grey.

MetroLux 14 theater in Loveland, Colo., accidentally showed the beginning of the R-rated film Fifty Shades of Grey to an audience of parents and children awaiting The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water on Monday morning.

Joe Jaramillo of Johnstown, Colo., took his granddaughter to the 11:45 a.m. showing of the SpongeBob movie and said that while only the very beginning of the R-rated film was shown in the mix-up, "it was the parents' reaction to it that was so funny."

"Some were moving pretty fast to get the kids out of the theater," Jaramillo said. "The family sitting behind me said what I was thinking: 'Am I in the right theater?'"

It's no wonder. Fifty Shades of Grey is a movie adaptation of the best-selling E.L. James book known for its steamy scenes and adult content. The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water has a PG rating and tells the tale of a cartoon sponge teaming up with his friends to save a secret hamburger recipe.

Shortly after, Jaramillo said the screen went blank and children's movie trailers started showing.

When asked for a comment, Metropolitan Theatres President David Corwin said, "There's no story here," in an email to the Coloradoan.
