I found this article interesting but I have a real problem with continuing to support china. I used to make a really great living at craft shows, but the buy/sell products destroyed the ability of American craft artists to make a living.

agreed, I haven't had a chance to read the whole thing yet, just glanced through it, I thought he had sources for drop shipment from us companies as well

I keep thinking about this and for me it doesn't really suit my mindset. It feels too much like dominant culture, find the quickest dollar, rather than create something or create a lifestyle that has some meaning.
