anyone have one or have experience with one? my wife has a old Nordictrack that is starting to die, she sad said she wanted the treadclimber and for some reason every time I hear bowflex I think really expensive clothes hanger

thats funny you say that, b/c every bowflex i see is generally used as a clothes hanger. I want one of those things you can put your mountain bike on and it becomes a stationary bike, then somehow hook up an alternator and see what kind of power can be generated, double dip on that energy exertion!

Funny story about a Nordictrack. Mine was bought in the early 90s by my parents and then given to me. Recently I put it by the curb with a "free" sign on it (it was on its last leg). Some older guy strapped it to his bike and rode away. Not sure how he did it or how many bungee cords he used, but it had to be a lot.
Sorry, no experience with the tread climber.
