thanks to B17's tireless efforts (I think it took him 4 minutes) we now have a twitter account. I have no clue what it is or what it does but I keep being told by people that if we want to grow this place we need to embrace the social networking side of the internet. So anywho for you tweeters or twitters or just plain twits, here is our twitter

I had no clue what twitter was so B17 explained it to me like this

There are some people who have no idea what Twitter is or how it works. Its really simple actually. Here I will post some basic “definitions” if you will. The basic idea of Twitter is to follow the people or organizations you are interested in. This could be a famous person, family/friends, magazines, news sites, companies. Once you follow them you can read their postings, called Tweets.

Tweet: a Tweet is just a posting. Similar to creating a thread here. It is just you saying that you are into this topic, article, person, place, etc…

ReTweet: a ReTweet is you saying that you like what has been posted (the Tweet) and you are going to share it back to the people who follow you.

Once you have followed someone/something you can only see their tweets and retweets. If you like the people they follow, you can follow them yourself and then have access to see all of their tweets and retweets. So on and so on.
