Exactly. I get most of my news off of the internet now. I'll occasionally watch O'rielly or Cavoto on Fox but that's about it.

Ya'll dont need me to tell ya that this country is in bad shape. Obama's old lady's new haircut got more news coverage then what happebed in Bengazi. They want to ban our guns but don't care to give the Mexican cartels all kinds of weapons. The list could go on forever.

Our forefathers warned that this would happen if we didn't hold the government accountable. Individual liberty means nothing anymore, it's all about "the collective" now.

I was a huge news hound for a LOT of years but since the last election I can't even stomach it to watch anymore.

Well when you consider the "news" has more to do with pop culture than current events I don't blame either of you from abstaining. I haven't really watched much TV at all in many years (some things here and there but not very much at all) and I really can't stand the news one bit. I usually turn to the internet, specifically non msm sources for "news". Mostly what that involves is going to 3 or 4 different sources, taking in their information and piecing together your own version of what PROBABLY happened based on the facts presented in the different reports. I don't know if the info I'm getting is in any way more accurate, but it just sort of feels more honest to me I guess.
