My uncle remarried this weekend after being a widower for 7 years so we drove down to New York on friday to support him, had a good time and saw a lot of family I hadn't seen in years, we then headed to six flags new england yesterday on the way back because there was a free concert my daughter wanted to see.
I realized after 42 years I shouldn't be going on these anymore, but my wife made me, I wasn't a fan
We then hit the concert area as my daughter met up with some of her facebook friends and we parked it in the old folks section under the pavilion
luckily the concert was over at 7:00 so I was excited, I figured a 4 hour drive home, be back in my own bed by 11:00 pm.
Let's just say I am never driving on the mass turnpike or 495 on a sunday night ever again, we got home around 2:30 this morning, my brain is still fried

my mom had the family over for my grandmom's bday. About 40 people over. Went and helped her with the BBQ. Did some ribs (again) and burgers and corn on the cob for everyone.
then i sold my old motorcycle to a one armed dude
sunday night i watched the debate as we have a provincial election in september here. the # for the debate was trending #1 in the world for over 1.75hrs. First time it happens to a # from quebec

I also attended a wedding. I saw of bunch of my family I haven't talked to in almost twenty years, ate some Maryland Blue Crabs (best crabs in the world btw) and left Sunday entirely too hung over for a 6 hour drive. Also, I was very much reminded the of all the reasons why I left Baltimore in the first place for California - just about everything sucks out there (with the seafood being the exception)
