At some point, wouldn't it be better and easier to 'hang' from TOP instead of build up from bottom?!?

I actually have sympathy for this as we have a 2 story+ exterior wall that is near a narrow 'footprint' area to scaffold for maintenance (painting) purposes. Might have been a good idea to have built into the wall scaffold attachment placements? (now we think of it! like duh!)

I don't know, I've seen some pretty dumb stuff in my lifetime, mostly from me!

We all do Oh $hit!s now and then. I once had a hand saw jump out of the notch I had made for the cut start and make a decent gash in my thumb side! It happened so quickly that it only hurt after it was done. A few stitches later . . .  all was well.
