when you lose power at 4:30 on a friday night, right before your dinner rush, you sit around for a hour and a half waiting for the power to come back on, call the power company, they say power won't be back on till at least 7:30 so you send everyone home and the power comes back on literally 5 minutes later, should have started cooking burgers on the grill in the parking lot

If its been that infrequent, then you're right, there would be no ROI. I am given to wonder what kind of reliability the electric will have out where my property is. Even here in Little Rock the power has gone out more than I'd expect it to.
