lol, nice

Looks like Sanders got crushed in SC

"lol, nice"

really ?

I can understand people not liking Sanders, but I can't understand how you think him getting crushed is funny or a good thing

Sanders losing means Hillary wins

and anytime Hillary wins that's a bad thing

if Hillary gets crushed I'm definitely saying "lol, nice"

I don't care for Sanders, but I can not stand Hillary

I'm fairly certain K was referring to the Clinton fact check video. The truth is, there are no good choices this time around. Not even the lesser evil. It's a giant turd sandwich. No matter who wins the American people lose.

The only reason I'm so personally open about Sanders is that the growing national debt and our culture of fiscally irresponsible economic policy is the greatest threat the US has ever faced before. The Sanders policy proposals move us further along that path faster than all the rest of the candidates.

If this is even remotely true then it's just another sign of how this Nation is on the brink of bursting.....

Report: Sanders proposes $15T in tax increases, hitting most taxpayers

"Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has proposed $15.3 trillion in tax increases ... would raise rates on virtually everyone, including the politically all-important middle class."

But Sanders, going where few politicians dare, would also raise taxes on middle- and low-income families, with those in the dead center of the income spectrum facing a $4,700 tax increase. That would reduce their after-tax incomes by 8.5 percent, the report said."

"That top quintile, which includes those earning more than $142,000, would see its taxes go up by an average $44,759. Those at the very bottom of the income ladder would see their taxes go up by $165 while those in the second quintile of incomes — between $23,000 and $45,000 — would pay an additional $1,625. "

Interesting, I would gladly pay 4700 dollars in increased taxes for a single payer health care system if it took away my 10,000 a year premiums.

K, I agree that the $4,700 would be a 'bargain' regarding health care premiums. But, what would it look like and what would it cover?  That is the question for me.  I still like the 'dead' idea to roll back Medicare a little bit each year and make it cradle to grave coverage.  In my area we are seeing the health care delivery system being stretched to the max with more people being covered under the Affordable Care Act.  As predicted; the need outweighs the capacity of the system.  Takes 3 to 4 times as long to get into many specialists now.  Also, there is a significant amount of Doc's that won't accept anything but private insurance, they simply won't participate with programs that are poor reimbursement and over the top in paper work.  My area has some of the premier care in the Nation for cardiac and other specialty services and the waits are longer and the providers simply can't keep up with the need/demand.  It's become a mess.

As for Bernie, or any other supporter, I am not in favor of taxation to provide social programs, entitlements or anything remotely related to income redistribution.  I was taught and believe, that if you want better things then do something about it: learn a skill, get a degree, work a second job.  I know it's not easy...I have been there and it was hellish working a full time job and going to college full time and I had bills and kids and such.  Don't beat up people that have a decent job and already pay more than their fair share of taxes.

Me and the Mrs work full time and I mean we work long hours (which we are working to change), we pay taxes and in return we can't even get pot holes fixed so we don't beat the hell out our cars as we drive to work at 0630....and the end of the year I can't take my family to a state park without paying $10 to get in...we should have a day to celebrate people that actually work.

...end of my ranting...for the moment...
