I agree with all that, but change has to happen at some point and change can be painful, is there things about sanders that scares the hell out of me, yes probably more than all the others, even if he did get elected none of his plans would get passed, you would see both sides of congress fight him on everything which would hopefully wake people up to the fact that the two party system is a sham.

As a side note can you imagine if sanders and trump both ran as independents against clinton and cruz, what a cluster that would be

...what a mess with popular vote vs electoral college.

I agree with huge changes are needed here in America.  I more about cutting things to the bone in terms of govt supports.  There is so much waste in so many areas.  BTW I am talking about govt supports to big business as well as social programs.  I am a bit of a fiscal reactionary.

I think that there are a lot of people who realize something is very wrong in Washington. The problem is most of these people aren't educated about the root of the problem, or how to begin to go about fixing it. This is the reason you see the groundswell of support for guys like Sanders and Trump. They sit far outside the traditional box, which has massive appeal even if their policy proposals are toxic. The real fight is to educate some of these people so they can make a decision based on logic and reason, rather than an emotional kneejerk reaction, which is how both of these guys are selling their product.

looks like Bernie cleaned house in Maine yesterday, anyone catch the debate last night? I found it amusing when Sanders said the republican debates are a classic example of why we as a country need to focus more on mental health issues.

DD...I agree.  I never would have guessed he would say/think that way.  I am not sure if I believe he really means what he said.  I wonder if he has an a different motive going on here...trying to bring some votes his way.

Isnt it kind of like suing Stanley because you hit your thumb instead of the nail?
