Hi. This is Sam with CJL Enterprize. I was contacted by the owner of the forum. He let me know of the concerns that some of the members have about the orders that have been placed with CJL for Alice Packs.

First I want to thank you for your business. Without customers like you we would not be in business.

We have been at a solid 4 to 7 week turnaround on orders for about 60 days. We have plenty of inventory. But all the inventory we have has to be gone through and refurbished in some form. That compounded by a huge spike in orders has caused the delay in getting packs out the door. We have been posting updates on a regualr basis on our website and our youtube channel. I will provide links at the bottom of the page.

We buy alice packs and frames in large quanitites and have shipments come in about every two weeks. We are well stocked. As mentioned before all the gear comes in pieces. We then have to inspect each pack, frame, kidney pad, etc to make sure everything works before it leaves our hands. Sometimes a repair may need to be made. A tear in a pack, a seam in a kidney pad, maybe one of the buckles cracked and needs to be replaced. We also check the frames. Rivets come loose or are not there at all. We replace those and even repaint the frame if needed. And we do all that and still sell the packs at 2 for $50.00. So after shipping you are into the pack for about $17.50 each. I did this price point because I wanted to make quality gear affordable for everyone. The downside is you have to wait. The wait is caused by huge popularity of the price point. And the process we go through to make this happen.
