Still a little early but I was driving back from the hydraulic shop and the fields were loaded, of course come may there won't be one to be found anywhere.
I parked and called them, must have been a 100 on both sides of the road.

We do turkey here. No flocks like that at my place.
About 4 years ago my buddy shot a Bearded Hen in my gravel pit. Only about 1 in ten thousand hens are bearded. The amazing thing is that he was hunting with a guy from the wild turkey foundation or something like that (promotes the sport).
He get the hen stuffed and has it in a display case in his living room...I'll try to get a few pix of her.

We normally have a flock of about 30 that hang out in our backyard around March, haven't seen them since we fenced it in. We do see them sitting up in the trees occasionally though at the treeline.
Turkeys are like cockroaches up here.
