Fishing opener is still about a month away so I go out with small spoons and spinners. Technically I am going for panfish, but I usually catch bass. Here are some pics from yesterday. On the way home from work, on the spur of the moment I decided to stop by a local lake for some fishing.
I always keep a rod in my truck so I was ready to rock!
The water clarity of this lake is just unreal. The secchi disk reading was around 16' last year which is mind blowingly clear for a lake in the city. These pics dont really do it justice, but I think you can see what I mean a little bit.
