It was a great time. I really, really needed it too. Over the winter I get really bummed because I cant fish. Then I start to get down.

It literally feels like I went on a dream vacation.

I know what you mean B, last year I went on a saltwater trip around the end of April, little did I know at the time that would be my last fishing trip until I went on the smallie trip weekend before last. Didn't matter that I didn't hook a smallmouth, it was just great getting out on my kayak and enjoying the surroundings.

That was probably the smallest one I caught. Was just in the right place where I could set my rod down and fish out my phone for a quick pic.
